Abstract : The study aims to identify the extent of the contribution of the field Archive and Documentation in intellectual production in the field of library and information especially with regard to the contributions of Arabic periodicals in this sector through the analysis of journal articles Arabic until 2000, and to identify the key features of this production and the extent of dispersion time, linguistic and thematic and geographical ,and try to highlight some of the other phenomena associated with the contributions of each of the authors and journals, to devise a list of class the most prominent journals and prolific authors in the field of dispersion of production has been shown for 117 contribution of 350 patrol the author of 742 articles
