About the Department of Anatomy

The department started since the opening of the University Hospital as a department within the Hospital Department and then became a separate department in 1407 AH. and then the departments of the Anatomy, parasites and pathology were administratively integrated in one department. After the increase of the departments’ activities at the faculty these departments were separated and each became an independent department. It continued to develop to become one of the best departments in our beloved country. The Department of Anatomy is one of the Basic departments at the university hospital that witnessed the foundation of the Faculty of Medicine.
