Symposium (Ramadan Fasting for Diabetic Patients)

In coordination with Public Relation Department, The Society of Diabetic Patient Friends in Jeddah has organized an educational seminar entitled “Ramadan Fasting for Diabetic Patients” that was held in the Main Auditorium of the University Hospital last Wednesday 23/08/1436H (10/06/2015G) which was attended by a number of doctors specializing in treating diabetic patients.

The educational seminar aims to teach diabetic patients regarding fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan. With the participation of the Patient Education Department, Department of Internal Medicine, and Department of Nutrition, exhibition booths were set-up for those departments to give medical education  to the diabetic patients. The University Hospital has urged the inpatient and outpatient section’s patients to attend the educational seminar.
