About Us

About the Department of Medical Education: The Department of Medical Education was established in 1428 H Corresponding to 2007 with a view to enhancing the local and international level of medical education. From the beginning of its activity, the Department of Medical Education has worked on achieving a specific vision aiming at supporting faculty members, educational accreditation, and the students of the Faculty of Medicine. The department has paid attention to the educational process by offering scientific activities that aim to consolidate educational concepts and refine practical skills. During the current academic year, the Department of Medical Education has given the opportunity to nationally outstanding faculty members and internationally distinguished universities to contribute to university education by attracting them to medical, health care, and scientific symposia which enhanced the training process at the Faculty of Medicine.

Vision:

The Department of Medical Education will be the leader in developing health sector professionals.

Mission:

To develop the methods of teaching, learning, education, and assessment of the professionals at the health colleges through various activities including pedagogical research and medical training of both teachers and practitioners.
